past present and future

i did so very much packing yesterday. i think i may be awesome. not wicked or radical though. but definitely awesome.i have a telephone interview on tuesday night. 9:30pm here, 12:30pm the next day in japan. dude interviewing me is from calgary. we've been talking hockey and weather and sumo wrestling for the past week in our emails.we booked our flights to the t-dot and then to halifax. so excited. it'll be candice's first time flying. also her first time back home in two and a half years. i know, i'm less awesome for saying "the t-dot".don't look at the time of the this post. are you kidding me? i knew you'd look.oilers in anaheim tonight. don't have a good feeling about it. didn't have a good feeling after any of their wins this series though either. roloson has proved to me though that he does in fact know what he's doing and that he isn't just the luckiest in-the-right-place-at-the-right-time goalie ever in the nhl.but enough about me.

~ i am stressed cuz i have lots to do today.

oh, and also, we are having a party on saturday may 27th. it's a "take it if you want it" party. we have lots of stuff that we aren't going to pack and it'll be up for grabs. but don't email me and ask what there will be or if we have this and that. it makes me sad when i don't have things that people need. so, keep it in mind. there'll be more talk of it closer to the date.

cleanse your soul

i've never really kept a "tidy" bedroom. my room has never been gross or dirty, just littered with clothes. i don't really spend much time in there, so why would it matter if there are clothes everywhere? and by everywhere, i mean everywhere. corner to corner and piled up in the closet. and this time, it wasn't all me... i think darren has more clothes than a lot of girls i know. anyway, i spent sunday cleaning our room. 10 loads of laundry later, the room itself looks totally bare. the closet: much better, but still needs some work. all of this in case they have to show our apartment.
