winding down

we got here like 4 hours ago and i've already cried. we walked down the flight path of the plane that dropped the bomb. tears just came. nothing else. just tears.

it's beautiful. d thinks it's the best of all the places we've been. speaking of d, right now he is sitting on tatami at a little table with 2 japanese guys and they are doing origami.

my throat is very very sore. i'm not complaining though. i'm cool like that.

yesterday, i was nearly attacked to death by monkeys. i'm not joking. "don't look them in the eyes!" what if they won't get out of my way? what then?!?!?!

i've been feeling guilty lately that we didn't stay long enough for more people to come and visit. i hope everyone understands. i also hope that what we've done and what we've seen will push people who want to see japan to come and see it. it really is a place that has to been seen in person.

now there are 4 guys sitting on the floor doing origami.

i need fizzles for my nizzles. (aka pop for to make my throat feel better)

kyoto

it's so beautiful here. the pictures that we have aren't going to do it justice. i can't even believe that we are here. the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. there are japanese and foreign tourists everywhere. we saw maiko today at a temple. now it's nap time and then out again to gion to hopefully spot a geisha.

ps
kyoto is lucky it's so beautiful or else i might really be upset that i totally ripped my pants today.
